At the CyberSec 2023 conference, traditionally organized in the framework of the cybersecurity month, the professional head of InfoLab gave a presentation on the ongoing cybersecurity research which was conducted under the project.
Every October, in the framework of the European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM), organized by the European Cybersecurity Agency (ENISA), the CyberSec Conference is being held in Hungary. This year, the National Cybersecurity Center will hold the conference for the seventh time.
The main goal of the conference, with the aim of enhancing safety awareness, is to draw the attention of everyone interested to the new aspects, the importance of cybersecurity, as well as to joint responsibility.
The event is one of those forums where the most relevant issues to the public and private sector can be addressed, the developments can be presented, and the challenges and possible solutions can be discussed.
This time, the Information Communication and Information Technology National Laboratory was a participant at this traditional conference. The professional head of the consortium, which conducted the research, gave a presentation on cybersecurity researches, emphasizing the importance of the activity, the intended results, as well as drawing attention to the utilization possibilities.
The goal of our cybersecurity research activity is to understand and recognize the dangers and threats in the cyberspace in time, as well as preventing those with efficient defense mechanisms. Detection and analysis of cybersecurity events and taking countermeasures require state of the art technologies and methods.
The analyses conducted by the researchers enable the cybersecurity experts to create efficient defense strategies, thus preventing potential attacks.
