The National Laboratory for Infocommunications and Information Technology (INFOLAB) and the Police Education and Training Center (ROKK) have signed a cooperation agreement with the aim of ensuring that the results of scientific research are directly integrated into professional training practices. Under the agreement, the methodologies and tool-usage protocols developed by the consortium will become part of the curriculum, enabling students to familiarize themselves with state-of-the-art procedures already during their studies, which they can later implement in their professional work.
This cooperation represents a significant step in strengthening practice-oriented education, providing students with knowledge and competences that will greatly support their professional activities. For INFOLAB’s researchers, it also ensures that their developments are utilized at the level of education. This not only improves students’ preparedness but, through the transfer of knowledge between ROKK and INFOLAB, may also promote the advancement of the entire law enforcement sector.
According to the parties, the cooperation marks the first stage of a long-term knowledge-sharing process that will facilitate the practical application of innovative results and contribute to the training of a more modern and better-prepared generation of professionals. The agreement serves as an example of how the gap between research and education can be bridged through a deliberately constructed partnership.
