The National Laboratory for Infocommunications and Information Technology (INFOLAB) has signed a framework cooperation agreement with the Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) and the Hungarian State Treasury. The collaboration of the three organizations focuses on strengthening domestic and international research and enhancing scientific cooperation.
In relation to the research topics, the parties committed to sharing with each other the results they have already achieved and the experiences available to them, with particular attention to the application areas of blockchain technology, smart contracts, digital assets/government securities, and new types of client validation processes.
The heads of the institutions—having identified common interests within the research theme “Secure Communication – Blockchain Technology”—decided to begin professional cooperation under the framework of a trilateral agreement and to examine the applicability of the research topic in the domestic issuance and distribution of Hungarian government securities.
Research cooperation agreements are of growing importance in both the scientific and financial spheres, as they enable institutions and companies to combine their resources and expertise to achieve outstanding results.
During the preparation of the agreement, the consortium representative of the National Laboratory for Infocommunications and Information Technology emphasized that new objectives were also set through this cooperation. The joint work of the organizations was characterized by the motto: “Three forces, united knowledge – Shared success.”
The joint research topic of the National Laboratory for Infocommunications and Information Technology, the Government Debt Management Agency, and the Hungarian State Treasury may bring numerous benefits, not only for the organizations involved but also for the scientific community and society as a whole.
